In 2014, Wilsons celebrity made its away over the pond with greater prominence after she was cast as a character on Showtimes The Affair as Alison Lockhart an unreliable young woman with a dark past that falls in love with the husband of her dreams, Noah Solloway. Wilson was honored with an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series in Drama 2015 together with Mauratierney as well as Joshua Jackson. I was thrilled to be able to play a character from both points of view Wilson said to British Vogue in the year 2015. Noah sees Alison to be this attractive, sexy and confident model.
